Kirsty Weaver grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa where she completed her studies at Rhodes University, and post grad studies at Pretoria University. Following this, she fled to London for the compulsory 2 year working holiday … 11 years later she found herself still there.
Whilst in the UK, she took the opportunity to further her studies in post graduate orthopaedic manipulation, therapeutic pilates and acupuncture.
Kirsty returned to South Africa in 2008, and worked in a physiotherpay practice in Morningside for 4 years.
In April 2013, she decided to spread her wings and open up her own practice, and thus Kirsty Weaver Physiotherapy was born.
She is passionate about all areas of muscoloskeletal physiotherapy and furthering her knowledge by attending regular courses. She loves to combine her acupuncture skills with her physiotherapy skills, to maximize the success of her treatments.
